WFN: World Fishing Network Launches in Comcast's Heartland Region

Continuing its rollout with Comcast, WFN: World Fishing Network is now available to the distributor's Heartland Region.
Xfinity TV customers in Illinois, Indiana, Arkansas, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky can now access the dedicated angling service as part of Comcast's Sports Entertainment package.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
"The thousands of rivers, streams and lakes throughout the Midwest make it one of the most passionate fishing communities in the U.S.," said Mark Rubinstein, president and CEO of WFN in announcing the rollouts. "We are thrilled to work with Comcast to satisfy the demand for WFN among its customers in these five states."
Comcast Xfinity TV customers in Chicago, Chicagoland, northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan can find WFN on channel 426, while subscribers in central Illinois can view WFN on channel 552.
WFN is now positioned on channels 282 and 544 in Indianapolis; 282 in Fort Wayne and 743 in South Bend, Ind.; 743 in Little Rock, Ark.; 742 in Toledo, Ohio; and 743 in Detroit, Lansing and Grand Rapids, Mich.
