Michelle Strong Named Distribution SVP at A+E Networks

A+E Networks said Michelle Strong has been promoted to senior vice president, distribution, national accounts, from a vice president of national accounts.

In this role she. along with her distribution sales team, is responsible for securing long-term distribution and revenue growth for A+E Networks. She will also work in coordination with digital media and business development to negotiate VOD, TV Everywhere mobile and other digital media products across all A+E Networks platforms.

“Michelle has done an outstanding job developing partnerships to cultivate and maintain distribution of some of the best brands in the television landscape,” David Zagin, president, distribution, A+E Networks, said in a release. “We look forward to Michelle’s continued success in further extending A+E Networks across all platforms throughout North America.”

Previously, she was VP, national accounts, where she managed several accounts including Time Warner Cable, Cablevision and Verizon. She also was responsible for securing long-term distribution deals for A+E Networks’ portfolio of services.

Prior to joining A+E Networks, Strong spent four years as senior director, national accounts for Disney and ESPN Media Networks. Before that she worked in BET’s affiliate sales and marketing department.
