ABC Family Pulls In the Slackers

6/10/2005 6:30 AM Eastern

ABC Family has ordered eight episodes of an original reality series that will presumably shake slackers out of their lethargy.

In Kicked Out, twenty-somethings who have been lounging at their families’ homes without money, jobs or futures will be put to the test over a 10-day period. During that time, each slacker will have to take on challenges such as taking on a job to earn their keep, managing a budget and furnishing their own apartment.

Production is slated to begin June 13, with Kicked Out, from High Noon Entertainment, slated to join ABC Family’s lineup in August.
