Acorn TV Sets 'London Kills' Series

Acorn Tv will take British drama London Kills straight to series, the network announced Friday.

The series, co-produced by Acorn Media and PGMTV, will dramatize the experiences of a team of to murder detectives, said the streaming service. The companies will produce two seasons of the series back-to-back comprised of five one-hour episodes, said the company. 

 “After announcing our first commission with Agatha Raisin, Series 2, Acorn Media Enterprises and Acorn TV are thrilled to not only commission another high-quality production but make London Kills our first straight-to-series commission and produce two seasons back-to-back,” said Shane Murphy, managing director for Acorn Media Enterprise in a statement. “With its compelling, fast-paced scripts and the creativity of (PGMTV managing director) Paul Marquess, London Kills will make an excellent addition to Acorn TV’s rapidly growing Originals slate.”
