Amazon said it will be adding SVOD services for its new regional Channels services in the coming months. Amazon Channels is supported via the existing Prime Video app for platforms that include smart TVs, iOS and Android mobile devices, Fire TV boxes and Fire TV Sticks, Fire tablets, gaming consoles and web browsers.

Amazon’s broader move with its SVOD aggregation service comes about five months after the company launched Amazon Prime Video to more than 200 countries and territories, matching up with an earlier global expansion by Netflix.
