AMC, HBO Top Cable Writers Guild Award Winners

AMC’s Breaking Bad continued to rack up industry awards, winning two Writers Guild Awards Saturday night.

Breaking Bad won WGA Awards for best drama series and episodic drama, according to the Writers Guild of America. HBO won two awards, including best comedy series for Veep. Netflix’s House of Cards took home a statuette for best new series, while Comedy Central’s Colbert Report won honors in the Comedy/Variety category.
