AXS TV Punches Up `Celebrity Sweat’ Series

AXS TV will look to get its viewers to shape up for the New Year with the Jan. 10 premiere of reality series Celebrity Sweat.

The 10-episode series will feature an entertainer showcasing how they train, balance nutrition and fitness and maintain an overall healthy lifestyle, said network officials. Celebrities slated to appear on the show include boxing legend Evander Holyfield, UFC Fighter Anderson Silva, boxer Victor Ortiz, Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks and Hollywood actor/UFC Fighter Cung Le.

 “Celebrity Sweat provides high energy entertainment with great personalities, while conveying the importance of fitness and nutrition,” said Todd Kline, senior vice president of Partnerships and Media for  AEG Global Partnerships, who partnered with AXS on the project. “With the support of so many influential figures in sports and entertainment, we’re excited to introduce this behind-the-scenes look at celebrity lifestyle to our viewers.”
