Bartiromo's Sunday Morning Business Show Joins Fox News Channel's Schedule

Maria Bartiromo’s new Sunday morning show makes its debut on Fox News Channel this morning.

Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo will focus on the intersection of commerce and news events, providing viewers with in-depth analysis of recent economic developments, offering different perspectives to the daypart’s historical political conversations.

Each week on the one-hour program, which follows the Feb. 24 debut of her weekday show Opening Bell with Maria Bartiromo, she will interview business leaders and industry newsmakers on topics such as job creation and investment opportunities, affording watchers an inside look as how to prepare financially for the future.

“Maria’s renowned expertise covering financial markets, job forecasts and the economy has helped define her as one of the finest business journalists in the industry and I am confident she will bring even greater value to Fox News Channel’s weekend programming,” said Michael Clemente, executive vice president of news at FNC.

Prior to joining FBN last month, she worked from 1993 until 2013 at CNBC, where she anchored Closing Bell with Maria Bartiromo and The Wall Street Journal Report, which was later renamed On the Money with Maria Bartiromo. In 1995, she became the first journalist to report live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on a daily basis.  Before that, Bartiromo served as a producer, writer and assignment editor for CNN Business News.
