BET’s ‘Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’oir’ Series Premiere Draws 1.5 Million Viewers

Tuesday night’s premiere of BET’s new reality series Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka’oir: The Mane Event drew 1.5 million viewers, according to network officials.

The series' premiere episode -- in which rapper Gucci Mane and model Keyshia Ka’oir were married in a star-studded live wedding event in front of guests and friends that included Diddy, Rick Ross and Big Sean – drew an additional 100,000 viewers as part of a simulcast on BET Her, said the network.

Overall, the series premiere grossed an average audience of 2.2 million total viewers and 1.4 million viewers 18-49 across premiere and encore airings, according to network officials.

The Gucci Mane & Keyshia Ka'Oir: The Mane Event was also the most talked about entertainment-based TV show of the day, drawing 1.2 million Twitter and Facebook interactions from 635,000 unique accounts, according to Nielsen’s Daily report for series, specials and sports. NBC’s This Is Us was a distant second with 221,000 interactions.
