Billy Gibbons Among New Guests At ‘Daryl’s House’

The first musical guests announced for the upcoming season of Palladia's Live From Daryl's House, starring Daryl Hall, include ZZ Top's bearded lead guitarist, Billy F. Gibbons.

Gibbons, recently featured in a viral-video Will Lee performance of Allen Toussaint's "Get Out Of My Life, Woman" (also featuring Toussaint), was the featured guest in the first new episode of the performance series, taped at Hall's former house in Millerton, N.Y.

Though Hall sold the Millerton house, and is renovating another historic home in Fairfield County, Connecticut (to be featured in an upcoming new series on DIY), the new owner has permitted some tapings there while Hall gets a new venue, a club in Pawling, N.Y., ready to host new Daryl's House episodes, according to Jonathan Wolfson. Wolfson, who is Hall's manager, is an executive producer of the show.

Also booked for Daryl's House episodes (which also stream on the show's web site) so far are singer-songwriters Amos Lee and Gavin DeGraw and the duo JOHNNYSWIM (Armanda Sudano and Abner Ramirez), according to Palladia, the MTV Networks HD performance outlet. Each will anchor his or their own episode. Two additional episodes are still being booked.
