CMT To Provide Early Look At ‘Nashville’

CMT on Dec. 15 will preview the first hour of its two-hour Nashville season premiere episode, the network said Thursday.

The country music-themed series, which CMT picked up after ABC cancelled the show after four seasons, will debut its fifth season on the network Jan. 5. CMT will air the first hour of the two-hour season premiere episode Dec. 15 as an “early holiday gift for the fans,” said network officials.

The Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Opry Entertainment-produced Nashville series stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as country music stars trying to navigate their careers and personal lives.
