Cogeco Bows TiVo-Powered 4K DVR

Canada’s Cogeco Connexion has introduced a TiVo-powered 4K DVR that will enable customers in Quebec and Ontario to access programming in the pixel-packed format.

Cogeco also introduced TSN 4K, a channel that provides Ultra HD coverage of live sporting events and games featuring the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa Senators, Toronto Raptors,  and Toronto FC.

The operator said more 4K channels will be added in the “coming weeks.” In the meantime, the new TiVo-based platform also provides access to Netflix and the OTT provider’s growing library of 4K content.
