Disney Channel Renews ‘K.C. Undercover’

Disney Channel will bring back its live action series K.C. Undecover for a third season, the network said Tuesday.

The series, which stars Zendaya as an undercover international  spy, will return for its third season in 2017, network officials said. The series is currently reaching 106 million viewers across multiple platforms during its second season, according to Disney.

K.C. Undercover, which also stars Kadeem Hardison, Tammy Townsend, Kamil McFadden, Trinitee Stokes and Veronica Dunne, is executively produced by Rob Lotterstein, according to Disney.

Undercover and how popular it is across our different platforms," said Adam Bonnett, executive vice president, Original Programming, Disney Channels Worldwide in a statement. "The series will continue to deliver action sequences that push the boundaries of the multi-camera genre with the same great quality storytelling and talented cast led by the incomparable Zendaya and executive producer Rob Lotterstein."
