'Duck Unlimited TV' Migrating to Pursuit Channel

The Ducks Unlimited TV show will be migrating to Pursuit Channel next summer.

Ducks Unlimited, the world's largest non-profit organization dedicated to conserving North America's waterfowl habitats, and Moose Media have reached a two-year deal for Ducks Unlimited TV to begin airing on the 40-milliion home Pursuit Channel in July 2014. DU TV, which has been running since the 1990s, currently has multiple airings on Outdoor Channel.

The new episodes, which will also be accessible online on the DU website and through Pursuit Channel’s category-exclusive IPTV portal, are scheduled to run in the third and fourth quarters of 2014 and 2015.

Filming of the next two seasons of DU TV begins this month at locations classified by Ducks Unlimited as high-priority conservation areas in Canada and the United States. Current DU TV host Field Hudnall will be joined next season by a team of waterfowling experts in a new format designed to keep the show entertaining and fast moving. Each show will feature waterfowling action from across North America, as well as segments on hunting tips and tactics, retriever training, wild game cooking, shotgunning, and conservation.

The principals of Moose Media have produced a number of outdoor television projects, including Leupold Big Game Profiles and The Honey Brake Experience. The company, also directs sales and marketing efforts for Pursuit Channel, while also representing promotional interests for several  series like Craig Morgan All Access Outdoors, Mossy Oak’s Hunting the Country and Wallhanger TV.
