Emmys 2017: 'Veep' Three-peats as Best Comedy Series

HBO's Veep won its third straight Emmy for Best Comedy Series during Sunday's Emmy Awards telecast.

The series won in a very competitive category that featured FX’s freshman series Atlanta;ABC’s Blackish and Modern Family; Netflix’s Masters Of None and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and HBO’s Silicon Valley.

Veep's comedy series win followed series star Julia Louise-Dreyfus's record sixth straight Emmy award win for Best Actress in a Comedy.
