ESPN Nets Set Pat Summitt Tribute Programming

Several ESPN networks will pay tribute to late women’s college basketball coach Pat Summitt throughout Tuesday.

ESPN, ESPNU and SEC Network will all air documentary programming and replays of games featuring Summitt’s Tennessee Lady Vols championship teams, according to network officials.

Summitt, who in her 38 years of coaching won more games than anyone in college basketball history, died Tuesday.

SEC Network, the ESPN television network dedicated to Southeastern Conference sports, devoted the day’s coverage to the Tennessee head coach emeritus. SEC Now coverage began at 9:30 a.m. ET and will continue until The Paul Finebaum Show begins at 2:30 p.m. Additional Summitt programming is planned for this evening.
