ESPN Videogames said Thursday that it is bolstering the roster of celebrities who will “appear” in its “ESPN NFL 2005.”
The football-themed video game features a virtual pad called “The Crib,” where gamers can gain new unlockable items by completing various goals.
Among celebrities featured in The Crib are hip-hop pioneer Funkmaster Flex, Jamie Kennedy of The WB Television Network’s JKX: The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, Carmen Electra from Carmen Electra and the Pussycat Dolls, Steve-O of MTV: Music Television’s Jackass and Wild Boyz and David Arquette (Scream, Eight Legged Freaks).
“We're excited by the possibilities this relationship brings and are pleased that each of these celebrities are as enthusiastic to work with ESPN Videogames as we are with them,” Visual Concepts senior vice president of marketing Steve Raab said in a prepared statement. Visual Concepts produces ESPN Videogames.
