5/16/2006 9:54 AM Eastern

Former CNN anchor Aaron Brown is becoming a Wildcat.

Brown will serve one semester as the John J. Rhodes Chair in Public Policy and American Institutions at Arizona State University’s Barrett Honors College next spring, AP reported.

ASU’s Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communications is also hoping to pull Brown into a classroom as a professor, according to AP.

"I'm really open to it," Brown, 57, told The Arizona Republic. "I'm at a point in my life where I'm really trying to figure out what I want to do, how much I want to do, what sort of challenges I haven't done I'd like to take on.”
