Ex-CNN Anchor Daryn Kagan Gets 'Bookmark' Show On RLTV

RLTV will debut on Friday, May 17, at 10 p.m. ETBookmark, a new weekly series exploring the culture surrounding books in America today. It's hosted by author, columnist and former CNN anchor Daryn Kagan and will present book-centric features including stories on how books have shaped people’s lives, sometimes-quirky aspects of literary culture and author interviews, the network targeting the 50 year old and up demographic said.

Authors scheduled to appear include Mary Higgins Clark,Kerry Hanon, Lisa Scottoline, Delia Ephron, Bob Dotsonand James McBride. Film and theater critic Jeffrey Lyons joins Kagan each week for “Touché,” in which he compares classic books and the movies made from them, and pronounces which is better.

Kagan is also the author of “What’s Possible! 50 True Stories of People Who Dared To Dream They Could Make a Difference,” published by Meredith Books in April 2008. Her s second book — “Paw Prints on My Heart,” featuring inspirational pet stories — will be published in 2013.
