Fastlane Revs Up for Court TV Run6/17/2005 6:36 AM Eastern
Court TV will take a ride in the Fastlane by adding Fox’s former cop show.
The investigative channel has secured the rights to all 22 episodes of the Warner Bros.-produced show, which featured two undercover officers in quick cars, and the cable network will air a pair of installments Saturday nights in primetime beginning July 2.
Company officials said the series -- which aired on Fox from 2002-03 and was repurposed by MTV: Music Television -- may draw younger viewers.
Should Fastlane prove successful, Court TV -- which also runs NYPD Blue -- may usher more scripted fare onto its primetime lineup.
