Food, Fine Living Head South

Grupo Televisa reached an agreement with Scripps Networks to license more than 75 hours of programming from Food Network and Fine Living, the two companies said Wednesday.

The fare from the two networks debuted on Mexico’s dominant broadcaster earlier this month, in both Spanish and English. Scripps Networks said the Spanish-language version of its programming airs on Televisa's Unicable channel and the English version on its American Network.

“We are pleased to provide Scripps Networks’ inspirational lifestyle programming to new viewers in Mexico through our agreement with Televisa, and we look forward to building on this relationship with one of Latin America's leading broadcasters,” Scripps Networks senior vice president of international development Kristen Jordan said in a prepared statement.
