Fox, Service Electric Reach Renewal Pact

Fox said it reached a new carriage agreement with Service Electric Cablevision, averting a disconnect as their old affiliate contract was set to expire at year's end.

The new deal, financial terms of which were not disclosed, covers retransmission-consent for stations WTXF-TV Philadelphia, and WWOR-TV, New York. On the cable side, the accord encompasses such services as BTN, Fox College Sports, Fox Deportes, Fox Movie Channel, Fox Soccer Channel, Fuel TV, FX,  National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild, Speed, Nat Geo Mundo and Utilisima.

"We are delighted that an agreement was reached without any service interuption for SECV customers and their loyal Fox viewers," Fox said in a statement.
