FX Sets Cocaine-Themed Series ‘Snowfall’

FX has ordered a new drama series Snowfall, based on the 1980s’ crack cocaine epidemic in Los Angeles.

The series, executively produced by Dave Andron (JustifiedKnight Rider), Thomas Schlamme (The West WingThe Americans), John Singleton (Boyz n the HoodFour Brothers2 Fast 2 Furious), Eric Amadio (After SexStuntmen), Michael London (SidewaysHouse of Sand and Fog), and Trevor Engelson (Remember MeAll About Steve), will be set against the infancy of the crack cocaine epidemic and its ultimate radical impact on the culture as we know it.

The series will star Damson, Idris Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Carter Hudson and Emily Rios.
