‘Game of Thrones’ Premiere Dominates Social Media

The season six premiere episode of HBO’s Game Of Thrones was the most discussed TV show on Twitter Sunday, according to Nielsen.

The fantasy series drew 376,000 tweets, easily besting Univision’s Nuestra Belleza Latina, which drew 58,000 tweets, reported Nielsen's Twitter TV ratings. 

AMC’s zombie-themed series Fear the Walking Dead was third most tweeted show for the day, followed by ABC’s Once Upon A Time and CNN’s new series United Shades Of America.

ABC’s live telecast of the Golden State Warriors-Houston Rockets National Basketball Association first round playoff game was the most social sports show of the day, garnering 264,000 tweets, said Nielsen.
