Golden Globes 2018: ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’ Wins Best Drama

Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale continued its hot awards streak, winning the Golden Globe for best drama in a very competitive category.

The freshman series beat out four drama series that were nominated for last year’s Golden Globe Award, including Netflix’s The Crown and Stranger Things, HBO’s Game Of Thrones, and NBC’s This Is Us.

The Handmaid’s Tale’s Golden Globe win is its second major TV awards win following its Emmy Award for best drama. It’s also the second Globes win for the series, following Elisabeth Moss’s win earlier in the evening for best actress in a drama.
