Google Freshens Up Fiber TV App

Google has launched an updated Fiber TV App for Android and iOS devices that includes new recommendation features and another that helps with binge-viewing.

The app, for Android and iOS mobile devices, will be updated for all  Google Fiber TV subs in the coming weeks, Jared Nusinoff, product manager at Google Fiber, said in this blog post.

Among the app’s new features, the next episode of subscriber favorite shows appear and can be played back with one tap when the app is launched.

The app also supports remote recording to the DVR and personalized recommendations for live TV.
