Hallmark’s ‘Witch’s Wonder’ Wraps 2.5M Watchers

Hallmark’s The Good Witch franchise continues to cast a spell on viewers.

The Good Witch's Wonder, the seventh installment of the network's movie franchise, drew 2.5 million viewers in its Oct. 25 premiere making it Hallmark’s most watched 2014 original movie to date, according to network officials.

Hallmark will transition The Good Witch movie franchise into a series in 2015, with the movie’s leading star Catherine Bell reprising her signature role as Cassie Nightingale.

The Good Witch films have long been a popular mainstay on Hallmark Channel and Saturday’s numbers make it clear that our viewers can’t get enough of Cassie Nightingale,” said Michelle Vicary, executive vice president of Crown Media Family Networks. “These results bode incredibly well for the launch of The Good Witch as the network’s next primetime original series, which will allow fans to tune in week after week.”
