HBO Leads Cable’s Creative Arts Emmys Wins

HBO won the lion’s share of Creative Arts Emmy Awards in a big night for cable networks, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced Saturday night.  

HBO won 29 Emmys, including eight for its fantasy drama series Game Of Thrones and four awards for its original series Bessie, according to the Academy. FX Networks took home eight Emmys, including four for its series American Horror Story: Freak Show. NBC was second with 11 awards.

Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Amazon, Netflix and Adult Swim won multiple awards.

FXX will air an edited version of the show on Saturday, September 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, encoring at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
