Hulu Renews ‘Deadbeat’

Hulu has renewed its original comedy series Deadbeat for a third season,  the OTT service said Tuesday.

The Lionsgate Television-produced series, which stars Tyler Labine (Tucker & Dale vs. Evil,Reaper) as, a hapless but gifted medium, is co-created by Cody Heller and Brett Konner (Wilfred, The Inbetweeners) and executive produced by showrunner Dan Lagana.

A premiere date for season three will be announced at a later date, said Hulu.

Deadbeat is a uniquely imaginative and charming series,” said Craig Erwich, Senior Vice President and Head of Content, Hulu in a statement. “We are very happy to bring it back for another hilarious season and look forward to sharing new ghostly stories.”
