INSP Moving to S.C.

The Inspiration Networks is moving its headquarters from Charlotte, N.C., to Lancaster County, S.C., AP reported.

The Christian programmer, which has 300 employees, said it will build a 93-acre campus over the next decade. CEO David Cerullo told AP the $98 million "City of Light" complex, about five miles south of Ballantyne, will eventually be able to accommodate as many as 1,500 employees.

INSP added that its new campus will include a welcome center, an administration building, a ministry training center, an outdoor concert pavilion, seven studios and back-lot operations, including script-writing and editing.

The programmer’s cable networks reach 22 million households in the United States, and its Inspiration Network International serves some 500 million foreign households, AP reported.
