ITV Acquires High Noon Entertainment

ITV plc today announced that it has agreed to acquire a controlling stake in reality show production company High Noon Entertainment.

The Denver-based ITV’s acquisition of High Noon Entertainment, which produces such reality shows as TLC’s Cake Boss and VH1’s Tough Love, comes on the heels of its recent acquisition of production studio Gurney Productions last December.

Paul Buccieri, Managing Director ITV Studios International and President and CEO ITV Studios America will have direct responsibility for High Noon Entertainment, according to the company.

“High Noon Entertainment is a wonderful addition to the ITV family,” said Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV Studios in statement. “We’ve admired them for a long time and their company ethos.  Their shows both complement and strengthen our existing portfolio of high quality programs and we look forward to working with them.”
