ITV, Adelstein Launch Tomorrow ITV Studios

ITV Studios US Group and former talent agency founder Marty Adelstein have finalized an agreement to launch Tomorrow ITV Studios, a joint venture that will develop, pitch and produce scripted one-hour drama and comedy projects in the U.S.

Projects from the JV will be distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

The studios’ first project to market is NBC’s recently announced drama series “Aquarius,” starring former “X-Files” and “Californication” star David Duchovny and written by John McNamara (“In Plain Sight”).

“While Tomorrow ITV Studios will produce pilots, the objective is to develop and package scripts with talent in a straight-to-series model as we’ve done with Aquarius,’” Adelstein said in a statement. “I feel fortunate to have partnered with ITV Studios; they are amazingly supportive and innovative and they will be fully backing Tomorrow ITV Studios.”

Adelstein is formerly a founding partner of the Endeavor Talent Agency and was most recently in an overall deal with 20th Century Fox. His TV credits include “Last Man Standing,” Teen Wolf,” “Prison Break,” “Tru Calling” and the upcoming ABC comedy “Cristela,” which premieres in September. His feature films include “Hanna,” “Black Christmas,” and “The Experiment.”

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Tomorrow ITV will be led by Adelstein and president Becky Clements , who has worked with the Endeavor founder for four years and served as executive producer on “Last Man Standing,” and “Cristela.” She was formerly executive vice president at Brillstein Entertainment Partners, where she was responsible for 50 pilots and several series including “Just Shoot Me!” “News Radio” and “Samantha Who.”
