Jeff Gaspin Joins Layer3 TV Content Advisory Board

Layer3 TV, the Denver-based next-gen cable operator, said it has added industry vet Jeff Gaspin to its content advisory board.

Jeff Gaspin, the former chairman of NBC Universal Television Entertainment, is president of Primary Wave Entertainment, a talent/literary management and TV/film production company, where he oversees a portfolio of unscripted and scripted programming. At NBCU, Gaspin was key in developing and launching programs such as The Apprentice, Biggest Loser and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, among others, and helped in the creation of Hulu. He later formed Gaspin Media, a production and consulting firm, joined the advisory board of TowerBrook Capital, and co-founded TAPP TV, a subscription-based online television network.

Gaspin, who has also held seats on the NCTA, A+E Networks and the Paley Center for Media, joins Layer3 TV’s content advisory board amid launches in markets that include Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C., Dallas/Ft. Worth, and in Longmont, Colo.
