Kabillion Secures Free On-Demand Berth on Verizon FiOS

Kids TV programmer Kabillion has reached a deal to provide its on-demand offerings on Verizon FiOS.

Kabillion and Kabillion Girls Rule, targeting boys and girls 6 to 11, respectively, are now available for free to Verizon’s nearly 5 million FiOS TV subscribers. Deal terms were not disclosed.

The Los Angeles-based independent said the services, which can now be accessed in 45 million households in the top 30 markets via deals with Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Charter, among others, tally more than 6 million monthly views.

Programming includes Tara Duncan, Code Lyoko, Bobby's World, Bunny Malone, The DaVincibles & Bratz. Kabillion, through a recent partnership with Saban Brands to proffer its Vortexx programming, also presents Power Rangers and Japanese anime series Sonic X, with Dragon Ball Z Kai set to be added in July.

“Verizon FiOS is a great carrier for our network,” said Kabillion president and Moonscoop LLC executive chairman Nicolas Atlan in a statement. “This marks a new phase in our overall plans for expansion and growth in the marketplace.  Presently, we are at 45 million households and will reach our goal of 50 million households by the end of 2013.”
