Louis-Dreyfus Repeat Emmy Winner for Best Actress In A Comedy Series

`Veep' Star Takes Series’ Second Emmy 9/22/2013 8:55 PM Eastern

Comedy veteran Julia Louis-Dreyfus won for lead actress in a comedy series for a second straight year.

Louis-Dreyfus won for her role as a female vice president for the HBO series Veep, the second Emmy won for the comedy series during tonight's the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards telecast. Actor Tony Hale, who plays a personal assistant to Louis-Dreyfus’ VP character, also won the Emmy for best supporting actor in a comedy series.

Including its two tonight, Veep has won three Emmy Awards overall.
