Music Choice To Celebrate 20th Anniversary Of Essence Music Festival

Music Choice will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Essence Music Festival with a special and featured music videos from the event, said network officials.

As part of the on demand music package, Music Choice will air beginning today and running through Aug. 31 a 30-minute Essence Turns 20 special that highlights the legacy of the magazine, the spirit of the festival and the best all time performances along with music videos from artists who appeared at the annual event last month in New Orleans.

Artists to be featured on the special include Nas, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Sevyn Streeter, Ledisi, Estelle, Kem, Keke Wyatt, Tevin Campbell, Tank and Luke James, said the network.

Also throughout the month Music Choice Video on Demand will air exclusive interviews from such R&B artists as Sevyn Streeter, Estelle, and Luke James, the network said.
