NAMIC Launching Tennessee Chapter5/31/2006 11:18 AM Eastern
The National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications will launch its newest chapter in Tennessee, with help from Scripps Networks and CMT.
The two programmers joined efforts in recent months to petition NAMIC to form a Tennessee chapter.
Scripps Networks regional manager for the Southeast Jonathan Palmer will serve as president of the new chapter; regional marketing manager for the Eastern division Shon Gilmore will serve as treasurer; and Charter Communications Inc.’s Sheree Love will serve as secretary.
NAMIC has 17 nationwide chapters and almost 2,000 members across the country.
