Netflix Renews ‘Stranger Things’ For Second Season

Netflix has greenlit a second season of its supernatural thriller Stranger Things, the OTT service said Wednesday.

The series, which stars Winona Ryder, will return in 2017 with nine episodes. The eight-episode freshman season is currently running on the streaming service.

Stranger Things creators/producers Matt and Ross Duffer will return for the second season along with executive producers Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen, according to Netflix.
