Radio Days for Fox Sports en Español

Fox Sports en Español and Spanish-language radio network Radiovisa will launch a two-hour live radio program.

Weekly sports call-in show Fox Sports en Español Ultimo Marcador will debut Sunday at 9 p.m. (EST) on Radiovisa’s affiliate radio stations throughout the country.

The cable network will also debut a live TV simulcast in January.

Each Sunday's program will recap the major weekend sporting events most relevant to the U.S. Spanish-speaking community, including soccer, boxing and baseball from the United States, Mexico and the rest of Latin America.

Veteran sports journalists and Fox Sports en Español commentators John Laguna and Samuel Jacobo will host Ultimo Marcador, which will include news updates and player interviews, as well as listener phone calls.

“Leveraging Fox Sports en Español's position as the leading Spanish-language sports-television network in the country, we will jointly develop relevant, entertaining and informative sports programming for our audiences across the United States, while also offering advertisers an attractive multimedia platform for reaching Spanish-speaking sports fans,” Fox Sports en Español general manager David Sternberg said in a prepared statement.
