Reality Central and the William Morris Agency entered a multifaceted, long-term strategic alliance, the two parties said Monday.
WMA will work with the fledgling network -- which is set to launch later this year -- to expand its relationships with corporate sponsors and program suppliers.
The agency said the Reality Central deal marks the first time it has committed to an overall alliance with a television network in the sponsorship and programming arenas.
“Reality Central … promises to be a groundbreaking media venture for which we believe the skills of the William Morris Agency can play an integral role in helping it to achieve its potential,” CEO Jim Wiatt said in a prepared statement.
Network chairman Kay Koplovitz added, “The William Morris Agency holds a pre-eminent position in the reality-television, creative and corporate-branding industries, and the relationship we've forged will accelerate the growth of Reality Central.”
