With his background handling carriage agreements for programming networks, NFL Network vice president of national accounts Brian Decker knows a challenge when he sees it.
“What I love about this business is the constant challenges it presents,” said Decker, who joined the National Football League’s Los Angeles offices in 2003 as VP of West Coast affiliate sales for NFL Network. “It’s an ever-evolving, dynamic industry and it has some of the smartest people working in it.”
Decker has played a key role in growing NFL Network’s distribution in its first three years. His tenure has seen completed NFL Network agreements with Echostar Communications, Cox Communications, Insight, AT&T U-Verse and Verizon FiOS.
Before joining NFL Network, Decker spent two years as WGN’s VP of affiliate sales for the Western Region.
