Showtime has renewed Shameless and House of Lies for their fifth and fourth seasons, respectively. Both series have received a 12-episode order for 2015.
Shameless, starring William H. Macy and Emmy Rossum as the leaders of the troubled Gallagher clan, has averaged 5.5 million viewers per episode across encores and myriads platforms, up 8% from last season.
For its part, the third season of comedy House of Lies, starring Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell,is on par with its sophomore run, averaging 3 million viewers across platforms.
Showtime had previously announced that it had also renewed original series Episodes for 2015. Production on new seasons of all three series will begin later this year.
