Sirius Gets Court’s Forensic Files

Sirius Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. will air audio from Forensic Files, Court TV’s signature series, under terms of a deal announced Monday.

The network said the Sirius deal represents the latest brand expansion for the series, following the November publication of The Forensic Files Casebook and the January release of DVD The Best of Forensic Files.

The audio broadcasts began airing Jan. 8 and will run in two-hour blocks Saturdays from 3 p.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 p.m.-11 p.m., with four episodes from the current week, the two parties said.

The Forensic Files radio broadcasts can be found on Sirius' "Court TV Plus," on channel 134.

“We've always put great care into the show's audio, even mixing the music in surround sound," Forensic Files creator and executive producer Paul Dowling said in a prepared statement. “The audio not only enhances the dramatic elements but also sets the proper tone for our crime and science segments.”
