Sling TV Tweaks Device Deals

Bundles Free Roku 2 With Three Months of Prepaid Service 1/04/2016 10:00 AM Eastern

Sling TV, Dish Network’s OTT-TV service for cord-cutters, has made a couple of tweaks to its bundled device offers in recent weeks.

Among them, Sling TV is now offering a free Roku 2 when  subs prepay for three months of service, which starts at $20 per month. That deal replaces Sling TV’s  Roku Streaming Stick bundle.

Sling TV also confirmed that it ended its Google Nexus Player promotion on Dec. 3, 2015. Previously, Sling TV had offered 50% off the Android TV-powered device when customers agreed to prepay for three months of service.

In addition to the current Roku 2 offer, Sling TV continues to offer $50 off the Amazon Fire TV box and 50% off the Roku 3 to subs who prepay for three months of service.

Sling TV currently supports Android and iOS mobile devices, the Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV stick, Roku players and Roku TVs, Web browsers, the Google Chromecast, Android TV devices, and the Xbox One.
