Spike TV Hangs with the Rookies

Spike TV and NBA Entertainment will offer a behind-the-scenes look at rookies in the National Basketball Association.

Six-episode series NBA Rookies, debuting Friday, June 10 from 9 p.m.-10 p.m. (EST/PST), will feature got milk? Rookie of the Year Emeka Okafor (Charlotte Bobcats); got milk? NBA All-Rookie Team members Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic), Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers) and Jameer Nelson (Magic); and fellow rookies J.R. Smith (New Orleans Hornets) and Devin Harris (Dallas Mavericks).

NBA Rookies will settle into its regular time slot Monday nights at 11 p.m. beginning June 13.

"We're thrilled to team up with the NBA for a distinct series that we feel will resonate with our hoops-loving, guy audience," Spike TV executive vice president of programming and production Kevin Kay said in a prepared statement.
