Spike TV, Ray Lewis Tackle Bad Coaches In New Series

Spike TV will team with former NFL All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis to develop a new reality series focusing on bad athletic coaches.

The series, Coaching Bad, will feature nine coaches who admit to having anger and combative issues and who want to transform their lives, according to network officials. The coaches will go through a program developed by Lewis and anger management specialist and author Dr. Christian Conte that will assess the coaches’ baseline anger issues; work to create real change; and put that change to the test.

The series will premiere during first quarter 2015, said network officials.

“Spike TV is thrilled to partner with one of the greatest players in NFL history in a compelling new series that will shine a light on the ever-growing issue of coaches and their anger issues,” said Levy in a statement. “Who better than Ray to bestow insight and wisdom to these coaches after his storied career as a leader on and off the field during his playing days with the University of Miami and Baltimore Ravens.”
