Starz InBlack Supports 1 st Amendment

Starz Entertainment Group LLC’s Starz InBlack will debut 13-episode, late-night comedy seriesThe 1st Amendment Stand-up Friday, Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. (EST/PST), the network said Wednesday.

The series will air every Friday with encore presentations Wednesday.

ComedianDoug Williams(Premium Blend) will host The 1st Amendment Stand-up from Atlanta, with performers including Ralphie May (Last Comic Standing), Dr. Ken (Comic Groove), Annie McKnight (Comic View), Thea Vidale (Thea), Shang(Comic View Grand Stand), Lonnie Love(Comic View) and Miguel Nunez (Joey).

“This series gives voice to a talented new generation of some of the funniest comedians,” Starz Entertainment Group senior vice president of channel management David Charmatz said in a prepared statement.
