Steve Schirripa Hosts New Series On ID

Investigation Discovery is debuting a new series -- Karma's A B*tch! -- telling tales of revenge that's hosted and executive produced by Steve Schirripa, the former The Sopranos (Bobby Baccalieri) actor who previously hosted two seasons of Nothing Personal on ID. Accompanying each story are interstitials of Schirripa conducting man-on-the-street interviews (see photo from Investigation Discovery above) to ask unsuspecting passersby what they would do in the same situation, the network said. The six-pack of episodes airs on Thursdays, May 2, May 9 and May 16, at 10 and 10:30 p.m.

“Revenge is a dish best served cold – and for the cold-hearted lowlifes featured in Karma's A B*tch!, they definitely had it coming,” Henry Schleiff, president of Investigation Discovery, said in a release. “In stories with schemes so well-crafted, there is no better host than Steve Schirripa to highlight ‘everyman’ justice and walk us through the ways to appropriately – or not so appropriately – settle the score.”

In the premiere episode, a woman seeks revenge on her cheating husband by flaunting his infidelity and putting their house on the market with a sign that reads: “HusbandLeft Us for a 22 Year Old...House for Sale. Adulterers Need Not Apply.” Then, when a woman recognizes herself as “the fat assed girlfriend” in her ex’s novel, she gets even with a successful tell-all book of her own. The half hour closes out with a girlfriend who discovers her boyfriend is cheating on her with two other women – one of whom is his wife! The three of them gang up and lure the cheater to a hotel room with a frisky surprise – combining nail glue and his private parts.

Schirripa -- who currently appears in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager -- also was executive producer on Nothing Personal which, like Karma's A B*tch!, was produced by Cineflix for ID.
