Sundance Gets Al Franken

8/02/2004 10:33 AM Eastern

The Al Franken Show will debut on Sundance Channel Sept. 7, AP reported.

The three-hour Air America Radio show will be trimmed to one hour and air on Sundance weekdays at 11:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., according to AP.

The arrangement continues through the elections in November, but Franken told AP, “It would be nice if it were a permanent home.”

“This is an opportunity for us to be in partnership with a personality who we think is extremely attractive to our audience -- someone funny, smart, insightful," Sundance president Larry Aidem told AP.
