TCA16: Netflix Renews ‘Chelsea’ For Second Season

Netflix will bring back its Chelsea Handler talk show series for a second season, one of several renewals announced during its Television Critics Association summer tour presentation.

Chelsea will return for a 90-episode second season in 2017 and will continue to air three times a week on the OTT service, Netflix executives said.

Other shows returning for a sophomore campaign include single camera comedy Lady Dynamite starring Maria Bamford and the Rob Schneider-produced comedy series Real Rob.

Netflix also announced premiere dates for several new and returning series including Chef’s Table (Sept. 2),  Easy (Sept. 22), The Ranch (Oct. 7), Black Mirror (Oct. 21),  Lovesick (Nov. 10),  Beat Bugs (Nov. 18), Captive (Dec. 9), One Day At A Time (Jan. 6),
